Nature of the mutation

The ioz19Tg allele is a transgenic zebrafish line Tg(-5.5nkx2.3:KALTA4-mCherry) in which the zebrafish 5.5 kb upstream of the nkx2.3 translational start drives KalTA4-mCherry fusion protein expression in the pharyngeal poucheson.

Genotyping assay

Genotyping of the ioz19Tg allele is based on the fluorescent microscopy. The red fluorescent protein expression was observed in the pharyngeal poucheson at 72 hpf.
